Introduction:
Primary eye care centers are small, permanent facilities set up to extend eye care service delivery to remote and rural communities with the objective of increasing uptake of comprehensive eye care. Tilottama (Shankarnagar) one of our primary eye care center, situated in the Rupandehi District in Municipality area, was established with the great initiation of Nepal Netra Jyotisangh Rupandehi Branch / Lumbini Eye institute and research center/ Shree Rana Ambika Shah eye hospital, Bhairahawa on Bs. 2078-07-05 (2021/10/22). The center was locally supported by Tilottama Municipality during its establishment.

Serving Population: 12,3000
Beneficiaries Population: Adjacent Tilottama Municipality , and few from Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City of Rupandehi .
Available service: Vision Assessment / Refraction / Optical dispensing / Medication / periodically cataract screening, School eye health program, and ongoing day to day Eye health education.
