Introduction:
Primary eye care centers are small, permanent facilities set up to extend eye care service delivery to remote and rural communities with the objective of increasing uptake of comprehensive eye care. Gaidahawa one of our primary eye care center, situated in the Rupandehi District in Rural Municipality area, was established with the great initiation of Nepal Netra Jyoti sangh Rupandehi Branch / Lumbini Eye institute and research center/ Shree Rana Ambika Shah eye hospital, Bhairahawa on 04 Aug 2026.
Location: 32 km from LEIRC,Bhairahawa
Serving Population: More than 40 Thousand
Beneficiaries Population: Adjacent Gaidahawa Rural Municipality, Kanchan Rural Municipality, Shuddhodhan Rural Municipality , Lumbini C. Municipality and Sainamaina Municipality.
Available service: Vision Assessment / Refraction / Optical dispensing / Medication and screening service / periodically cataract screening, School eye health program, and ongoing day to day Eye health education.
