District Eye Care Center Gulmi
District Eye Care Center Gulmi was established on 5 June 1990 as Primary Eye Care Center by the initiation local people and civil servants at Tamghas. Lumbini Eye Institute & Research Center, Nepal NetraJyoti Sangh and SEVA foundation has prominent role for day to day operation and development of this Centre. The DECC is located at Resunga Municipality – 8 Tamghas Gulmi.
District Eye Care Center provides eye care service to near about 200000 populations of Gulmi, Arghakhanchi and neighboring districts. Annually, it serves to 12000 out patients & about 250 surgeries are carried out by the aid of periodic surgical visits. There are 7 Staff members at DECC who are dedicated to provide eye care service smoothly & effectively. The District Eye Care Center remains opened 6 days/week providing the service in office hour (10:00am-5:00Pm).
